In case you have not seen our latest update from the TSA Chief Executive please click on the following link:

www.tsa-uk.org/news/update-from-the-tsa-chief-executive-13th-may-2020.html

This is update number eight! Never even thought of numbering them when we started way back in March! We are starting to get into a bit of a routine around the lobbying, write a letter, get a standard reply, write another letter. However, we know of at least 10 UK laundries who have now got hospitality status, so it is slowly working. The key task this week was to start preparing the re-opening/operating advice document and Shyju and the team are making great progress. We have also received good news on the furlough scheme. It’s going to be a tough summer but if we continue to all work together and support each other we will come out the other side.

Stay safe Dave. Keep up the hard work

In the current business environment, it is acknowledged that the smaller laundries with limited available resources (turnovers ranging from £500k – to £15m) may be struggling the most. The TSA is inviting all independent laundries to share ideas and FAQs and act as a sounding board for suggestions on how - either working individually or together - we come out the other side.
