Several high-profile June events for members of the linen, uniform and facility services industry were recently postponed due to the ongoing global impact of the COVID-19 virus. Texcare International and the World Textile Services Congress (WTSC) will now take place in November in Frankfurt, Germany, and TRSA’s European Laundry Tour will be rescheduled as well.
In a letter to the global industry, Johannes Schmid-Weidersheim, director of Texcare International, said that, “In view of the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections in Europe and following intensive consultations with partners and exhibitors, Messe Frankfurt has decided to postpone Texcare International. We expect to hold the world’s leading trade fair for textile care in Frankfurt am Main this coming November. Naturally, we will let you know the exact dates as soon as possible.”
Texcare International was originally scheduled to take place June 20-24, while WTSC 2020 was originally slated for June 18-19 and TRSA’s European Laundry Tour was going to take place June 22-27.
